Snowcapped Moose Lake

6 Moose Dawn

A pair of moose in magnificent Glacier National Park (as seen going ‘viral’ on Facebook). I spent a very cold morning waiting for moose to appear at this scenic lake. When they finally did, I couldn’t believe the scene before me.

The King is Rising

Moose Rising

Quite simply the biggest bull moose I’ve ever seen. This giant beast was filmed in Glacier National Park, truly the land of giants. I encountered the bull as he fed in a twenty acre pond in the mountains.

He did not stay for long.

The bull also didn’t care for my presence unless I was lying prone. Wind chopped up the pond surface (note the waves), and the temperature was in the teens with the wind chill. The moose was not fased.
